This therapy is beneficial for athletes, gym goers, and those that do a gentle or moderate physical activities and experience soreness.

The treatment incorporates techniques from other massage styles, with a focus on providing a deep and rehabilitating effect. The massage works on the soft tissue to prevent injury, soothes muscle or tendon pain and rids the muscles of any stress they are holding on to.

Sports Massages include:

  • Pre-Event – Designed to stimulate muscles and getting soft tissues ready for the main event. This massage focuses on the areas of the body that will be exerted during activity. Typically received before the event.
  • Post Event – Received after undertaking activity, as it aids in soft tissue rehabilitation and muscle detoxification.Great for people that need support with post event recovery.
  • Restorative – Is often received regularly whilst training or preparing for an event. Perhaps you are looking to train harder or improve your personal best. Restorative sports massage also works to enable further training by preventing injury.
  • Rehabilitative – Focuses on alleviating pain from an injury, supports fatigued muscle recovery and returns affected soft tissue back to health.

Your treatment can be designed to incorporate one or more of the above modalities and will focus on the areas where you need it the most.
